Managing Socioenvironmental Projects: Dialogue and Mobilization as Challenges in the São Francisco Community

Context of the case: the case is based on the management history of a socioenvironmental project financed by a quarry, which takes place in a community located nearby, in the city of Salvador, State of Bahia.
The dilema of the case: because of an operational change in the project and some slips in the process of social mobilization, project management faces important continuity challenges.
Case closure: the teaching case provokes learning oriented towards the: (a) understanding the vital role of dialog in the management process of socioenvironmental projects, (b) conceiving social mobilization as a central challenge in the process of dialogic management of socioenvironmental projects and (c) knowing practices of promoting social mobilization in the process of dialogical management of socioenvironmental projects.
