Abstract
The present work objective to analyze the mechanisms that provide the citizen enrollment in the model of energy management, in special the ones related to the energy sector, which involves principles of sustainability and ambient development. The methodology used encompasses a case study, with documentary and bibliographical research. The research, have been based on the study of the implantation of a biomass energy plant by a private company and the evaluation of the Brazilian model of energy management. The study made possible to ratify the incongruence in the formularization of participative public politics, considering that these are harmed and/or limited by the national matrix that does not offer space to the direct participation of the society, and is unfortunately where all regional politics stands.
