Abstract

For the formulation of public policies to support entrepreneurship, governments need subsidies from the academic community. Considering this aspect, this paper aims to present and analyze the recommendations of Brazilian researchers that can feed the policies of entrepreneurship in Brazil. For this, we have identified the recommendations expressed in the conclusions of the articles published in the Annals of the six editions of the Encontro de Estudos sobre Empreendedorismo e Gestão de Pequenas Empresas (EGEPE) until 2011. The recommendations identified have been grouped and analyzed according to six different dimensions of entrepreneurship policies: culture promoting of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial education, barriers to entry and exit, support to entrepreneurs, funding and support for specific groups such as women entrepreneurs.
