Accountability Santa Catarina’s Municipal Executive Branches: a Research on Electronics Portals

The goal of this article is to investigate the accountability of municipal executive branches of Santa Catarina State in electronic portals. The research is descriptive, survey type, with a qualitative approach. Data collection was conducted through observation protocol. Of the 25 portals analyzed, 19 showed low capacity in enabling the construction of accountability, representing 76.00% of the group studied. Only 24.00% of municipal executive branches meet the legal requirements. The results demonstrate the almost complete lack of portals usage to do the accountability of the municipal executive branches’ expenses.
