In Africa, in general, and in Mozambique, in particular, access to agricultural extension services by farmers has been the only way for most of them to access agricultural information and knowledge. In Mozambique, few studies analyze the factors that influence access to extension services. Therefore, this study conducted based on data from the Integrated Agrarian Survey (IAI2020) and using binary logistic regression for data analysis, aims to contribute to a better understanding of the factors that determine access to agricultural extension services by farmers. The survey results indicate that the following factors positively influence access to extension services: sex, age, training in agriculture, production of cash crops, does paid work, membership in an association, access to credit and size of the production area.
