Research objective: To establish relations between the perception of Organizational Support and the potentiating factors of Organizational Learning identified in the studied cooperative.
Theoretical framework: The concept and models structured by Queiroga, Brandão and Borges-Andrade (2015) and Angelim and Guimarães (2003) were used, since these authors bring the most used definition in academic publications on the subject.
Methodology: A questionnaire containing sociodemographic questions, the Organizational Support Perception Scale and the Organizational Learning Scale were used. 262 employees answered the survey online or in print. The results were tabulated in Excel, and Exploratory Factor Analysis and Pearson's Correlation coefficient were used using SPSS software.
Results: The results of this study showed that the cooperative can make efforts to improve issues related to Performance Management Practices. It was noticed that actions of a more reflective, more decisive and planning nature are centralized in senior positions, displeasing most of the respondents.
Originality: The relevance of this study is due to the fact that cooperatives provide the introduction of small and medium-sized producers in competitive markets (Ferreira & Braga, 2004). Faced with this, organizational support and organizational learning emerge as a possibility to help achieve achievement and well-being of individuals in the work context.
Theoretical and practical contributions: The results offer subsidies for the managers of the agricultural cooperative to understand the organizational learning of its collaborators as coming from different factors, especially the Practices of Performance Management and the Practices of Promotion and Reward. From a theoretical point of view, this study collaborates with research in the field of organizational behavior, identifying issues related to support that can enhance organizational learning.
