The profile of the executive secretariat professional working in startups

Technological advances arising from Industry 4.0 impacted all spheres of society, including the world of work. Studies show that requalification will be imperative for the coming years and continuing education will be essential to increase employability. For individuals in the secretarial area, this transformation, which is still ongoing, is a reality. Given this outlook, this research is presented with the aim of examining the professional profile of Executive Secretaries working in disruptive companies aligned with a more technological market, the startups. To contemplate the proposed problem, in addition to the bibliographical survey, the data collection technique was used, whose results are analyzed and discussed in the light of the descriptive method and the quantitative approach. The results show that technological skills are essential for working in startups, as well as the mobilization of certain soft skills, above all, good communication, emotional intelligence, proactivity and cognitive flexibility.
