This study aims to characterize the extension activities developed in the period from 2000 to 2020, in the Trilingual Executive Secretariat (SET) degree at the State University of Western Paraná (UNIOESTE). Considering the proposal, in face of a new scenario, it seeks to instrumentalize and operate as a support to strategic planning for future changes with the insertion of the university extension in the curricular matrix. It is noteworthy that, according to the Brazilian National Plan for University Extension (2015), these activities are part of an educational, cultural and scientific process, contributing to the development of teaching and research in an inseparable way, as well helping significantly in the professional training of university students. Based on a qualitative approach and using secondary data obtained from the database of the Pró-Reitoria de Extensão at the university under investigation, the analysis was carried out applying the descriptive and exploratory methods. The main results show the consolidation of university extension in the Trilingual Executive Secretariat degree at UNIOESTE, with the next step being the curricularization of extension. As a contribution, we highlight the dissemination and importance of extension projects present in the undergradute education in executive secretariat, besides drawing attention to their relevance in professional academic training.
