The main objective of this research is to verify which management activities are most frequently carried out by poultry producers in the Municipality of Cascavel - PR. As a secondary objective, it aims to evaluate the possibility of assistance in the management of these projects by professionals in the Secretariat area. The option for poultry consultancy is justified by the high performance of this production in the Western Region of Paraná. To achieve the objective, the research was carried out qualitatively, with an exploratory and descriptive nature. The results demonstrate that the most frequent activities are those focused on control, as well as registration and transfer of documents to integrating companies, so that these activities are possible to receive assistance from an executive secretary. Thus, it is understood that the skills of this professional, especially those focused on advising, can be absorbed in the context of rural poultry farming.
