Abstract

Sowing density of soybean and good soil fertility are essential factors for the sustainability of agricultural production. The objective was to evaluate the influence of chemical characteristics of the soil and sowing density on early growth and soybean yield components. The experiment was conducted in Laguna Caarapã, MS, in Latossol using the experimental design was randomized blocks, in a factorial project 2x3, with fator two classes of soil (fertility hight and low) and sowing density for (10, 12, 14 e 16 seeds per meter) with 4 repetitions. We analyzed the initial growth and agronomic characteristics and the soybean yield. The data were submitted to an evaluate of variance and the means compared using Tukey’s test (p ? 0,05). The survey showed no difference in soil caracteristics ans sowing density between for soybean yield. With increasing plant density ,low number of ramifications per plant and pods per plant.. The mass of a 100 grains did not vary in soquind density evaluation.
