Health education about Zika, Chikungunya and Dengue

Health education about Zika, Chikungunya and Dengue is essential as a measure to raise public awareness about the prevention and control of such arboviruses. In this sense, the present study aims to report the experience of the authors in the elaboration and implementation of a health action in an outpatient clinic located in a municipality in the Triangle of Minas Gerais in Brazil. The educational action was carried out on July 8, 2022, with a focus on raising awareness among the local population regarding Aedes Aegypti and the diseases transmitted by this vector, with the aim of creating a space for dialogue and knowledge exchange. The action was developed through the problematization methodology using the five stages of Maguerez's arch. The planning of this health action allowed the development of the ability to interact with the public, the acquisition of skills and competences such as communication, leadership capacity and decision-making.
