This work sought to use an open-source physical computing and low cost platform for evaluation of a flow sensor used to measure fuel consumption of agricultural machinery at the Laboratory of Agricultural Engineering of the Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro, in a test area of the agricultural mechanization department. A microcontroller board and a flow meter were utilized for development of the measurement system. Using the Arduino environment, an application was specifically developed to acquire fluid flow data and excellent functioning of the developed application was observed to determine the fluid volume via the flow meter.Downloads
