In 2020, the Federal University of Viçosa and the Municipal Management implemented the Telehealth Covid extension project to face the pandemic. The objective is to make a descriptive analysis of the fourteen months of the project's performance. A descriptive analysis of the socio-demographic, clinical-epidemiological characterization and service indicators was carried out. A total of 6,898 patients were treated, predominantly females and young adults. The most frequent signs and symptoms were headache, cough, runny nose, sore throat, muscle pain and fever. RT-PCR was the test performed by the majority and 31.6% of patients were positive. The service closed 91.5% of the cases. Telehealth Covid was relevant to the Covid-19 contingency, with a significant number of calls, and included the social mission of the public university, transforming the care model and reorienting the process of training and professional action of students and health professionals.
