Due to the increase in the value of cocoa beans on the market, the demand for cocoa seedlings has grown significantly, driving the formation of plantations. In order to produce quality clonal seedlings, it is important to consider several factors, such as genetic material, substrate and grafting technique. The aim of this study was to hold a workshop on the production of clonal cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) seedlings with agronomy students from the São Lucas University in Ji-Paraná, RO. During the workshop, participants were organized into groups, integrating theory and practice in a dynamic and interactive way, ensuring active participation and assimilation of content. Participants were given a script for monitoring the activities, which made it possible to apply the methodology in the pre-established order. At the end of the workshop, it was possible to see how important the training had been for both the proponents and the participants.
