Abstract

The bean crop has significant economical importance in brazil because of its importance for food and the extensive cultivated area. This study was done to determine the effect of combination of soil water level and the load applied to the press wheel of a tractor mounted seeder on the initial establishment of bean crop in the no-tillage system. The study was done in randomized block design with 12 treatments in 3 (soil water) x 4 (loads) factorial outline and four replications. It was concluded that different soil water levels changed the emergence speed index of bean seedling.
