Bringing neuroscience to everyone - experiences of the Popneuro program in scientific dissemination actions

The dissemination of neuroscience, highlighted by the study of the brain and its functions, gains
importance in education and society. Through continuous efforts, such as lectures and the intelligent use of social media, neuroscience gets closer to the public. University students, especially those involved with the POPNEURO Program of the Federal University of Pampa, in Uruguaiana, RS, play a key role, acting as scientific ambassadors. Activities, including the International Brain Week, science fairs, and Neuroblitzes in schools, as well as teacher training, foster interest and understanding of the Nervous System. These actions, marked by innovation, not only inform but also inspire and engage the community, strengthening the
scientific culture and the practical application of neuroscientific knowledge in everyday life. The actions exemplify the transformative impact of neuroscience on education and public engagement, highlighting its value beyond academia.
