This article aimed to dimension the diameters of the wet suction ammonia pipes, pumped liquid, hot gas for defrosting and the defrost return of the air coolers of a 35-ton poultry freezing tunnel, located in the city of Santa Izabel from Pará/PA and compare with the results obtained in the Danfoss selection software called Coolselector2 and also with the diameters existing in the freezing tunnel under study. The work is relevant because the adequate dimensioning of the ammonia pipes in industrial refrigeration facilities is important, avoiding the financial waste of oversizing and also avoiding the reduction of efficiency of the industrial refrigeration facility, through the under sizing. As a result, it was observed that, for the pipes of each equipment, there is a tendency for the diameter of the existing coolers to be smaller than that calculated and selected in the software, and for general collectors, it was observed that the calculated diameter tends to be smaller than the others (software and existing).
