Brazilian cities face serious urban mobility problems, largely caused by the pattern of urban development. The precariousness of public transport, as well as congestion and accidents, combined with the lack of necessary infrastructure, has become increasingly structural aggravating factors in the country's cities. This article proposes an analysis of the cycling system in Goianésia of Pará, in the interior of the state of Pará. For this, an electronic questionnaire was carried out, which was applied to 41 people residing in the municipality. The results of this research showed that 92.7% of respondents do not use bicycle transport, and 71.1% said they do not use this modal because they consider the municipality's infrastructure bad, in addition, 70.7% would consider using the modal bike lane if there were suitable places for use, such as bike lanes and lanes.
