Due to the water crises that have been occurring in several cities in Brazil in recent years, it is increasingly common for consumers to be concerned about information on the water level of the residential reservoir, given that rationing and water shortages have been increasingly more common, especially during periods of drought. In this sense, this work aims to present a prototype of a water measurement system developed from a literature review of studies and low-cost equipment dedicated to monitoring the water level in residential reservoirs. In the development of the prototype, the Arduino microcontroller and the ESP32 were used. As a result, the system was able to measure, transmit wirelessly over a certain distance and show the water level, as well as being low cost.
