The present text seeks to discuss, embedded in the readings of the Social Imaginary of Castoriadis (1992, 2004, 2006, 2007), an interview excerpt linked to the author's master's research that investigates the imaginary meanings of teaching and the training paths of LGBT teachers. We problematize and direct our attention to the relationship that the interviewed teacher has with his notion of body, discussing the transformations of the term homosexuality and the impact that these changes reflect in the school context, having his speech as a guide.
