Abstract

Since the end of the 20th century, discussions on the fragmentation of architecture and urbanism teaching in Brazil have resulted in new proposals for integrating disciplines. Thus, this article aims to analyze the current context of Integrated Ateliers or Projects in Brazilian institutions of public higher education. To this end, their Pedagogical Course Projects were consulted and the Integrated Ateliers and Projects were classified based on their occurrences in single, double, annual or more comprehensive phases. It appears that most of the courses present in their objectives some proposal for the integration of disciplines, each one with its qualities and level of detail. This large universe of experiences allows us to reflect on new directions for the important disciplinary relationship in the teaching-learning process between the different areas within the Architecture and Urbanism course.
