A Science Club can be understood as an effective possibility for science teaching and learning processes. However, due to the pandemic, the period of emergency remote teaching was established and this methodological proposal had to be rethought to be developed in the virtual environment. Thus, this study aims to present the use of the social media of publications on Instagram to carry out scientific dissemination through publications in order to contribute to the activities of a Science Club in a virtual format. The data obtained come from Insights and from the speeches of the club members in the synchronous meetings held. Qualitative analysis demonstrates that publications showed great engagement and this can be considered a positive aspect. Thus, it can be inferred that the use of this social network can contribute to the development of scientific dissemination and also to the synchronous and asynchronous proposals of a Science Club in the virtual format.
