The present study aims to analyze the existing relationships between Physics and Mathematics, demonstrating that the contents are fully connected and analyzing the implications that arise from equations applied to physics more specifically with a delicate treatment with the equation of restricted relativity (E=m.c2), In addition to contributing to bibliographic research so that teachers in related fields can consider the possibility of interaction between Physics and Mathematics. Based on bibliographical research, it was obtained as a result that the basic notions of Physics can be built through mathematical modeling and interpreted in the form of equations and mathematical functions. It can be concluded that in the construction of the foundations of Physics, mathematical language is used as a form of representation of abstraction and reality, theory and practice. With the equation (E=m.c2) it is possible to reflect on problems that exist in relation to space exploration and its use in war, in addition to establishing the importance of the study of equations as useful tools for knowledge and the ability to perform predictions regarding the world around us.
