Abstract

The work presents an evaluation of the performance of Polylactic Acid (PLA) and Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) in test specimens produced by additive manufacturing (3D printing) with controlled defects, aiming to assess how different geometries of these defects affect mechanical properties. Through experimental design and statistical analysis, the influence of defect geometry and material on the evaluated mechanical properties was confirmed.
