Survey of pathological manifestations of a single family residence in the municipality of Imperatriz - MA with application of the GUT matrix

Abstract

The quest to build faster and more economically, not worrying about the performance of the construction at the time of use, has increased the occurrence of pathological manifestations in buildings, negatively affecting the performance of the structure of buildings, requiring the study of the its causes and forms of repair. In this way, the GUT facilitator tool was used to make decisions regarding the order of prioritization of repairs, in a survey of pathological manifestations, in a single-family residence in Imperatriz-MA. By carrying out a survey and residential inspection, the research identified pathological manifestations such as mapped cracks, detachment of the ceramic floor and vertical crack, resulting from execution failure, inadequate materials and overload. The vertical crack between column and masonry presented a higher degree of risk and, therefore, a higher degree of priority to carry out the necessary repairs, proving the benefit of the aid of this strategic planning tool in the areas to be repaired.
