Submission System Recommendations: / Recomendações para o Sistema de Submissão:
    [EN]
Authors should detail the use of GenAIs in the manuscript and in the final version, including specifics like the tool’s name and version, the date and time of its use. Ideally, the prompts used and logs of the interactions should be attached to the work. Authors who use AI tools for manuscript writing, image production, or graphical elements of the article, or for data collection and analysis, must be transparent about how the AI tool was used and specify which tool was employed. Authors are fully responsible for the content of their manuscript, even those parts produced by an AI tool, and are therefore accountable for any violation of publication ethics (COPE, 2023). Authors are responsible for all submitted and approved content, ensuring that it is free from bias, plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification, including text and images generated by AI. It is crucial to assess biases and stereotypes perpetuated by LLMs (large language models) due to their training material. Authors must verify that content generated or reviewed by these tools is free from plagiarism.

    [PT]

Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) / Inteligência Artificial Generativa - GenAI
    [EN]
Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) is a technology that utilizes deep learning models to autonomously create new content, such as texts, images, videos, music, and even software code. Unlike conventional AI, which performs specific tasks based on predefined rules, GAI can generate something new and unpredictable based on patterns it learned during training on large datasets. Applications like ChatGPT and DALL-E are popular examples of this type of AI, widely used to automate creative and analytical tasks across various sectors, including education, design, and scientific research (Red Hat, 2023). This technology has been explored in professional environments to optimize complex processes, improve efficiency in product development, and even support scientific research. However, the use of generative AI also brings ethical and security challenges, as the content generated can be difficult to distinguish from that produced by humans, raising questions about intellectual property and misuse (SciELO, 2023).

    [PT]
