The aim of this paper is to report the experience lived in the “Cursinho Popular Muiticampi Emancipa: Popular Education Movement” - Emancipa Network with emphasis on the teaching practice of the curricular component of chemistry from March 08 to October 30, 2019 at Instituto de Engineering of Araguaia - IEA / Unifesspa, Santana do Araguaia- PA. There were 9 meetings in the classroom for the chemistry discipline, during the execution of the project, we sought to work the main contents charged in the National High School Exam (Enem) through lectures, dialogues and exercise resolutions. The methodology used in this qualitative research was action research. The instruments used for the analysis were field diary annotations, photographic records and participatory observation. These allowed us to conclude that the project was of paramount importance for both the subject teacher and the students, since it aroused the teacher's interest in teaching and allowed to change the students' perception regarding the studies and the subject in question.
