The aim of the research was to analyze innovation in a group of five micro and small companies in the commerce and services sectors located in the North Coast region of Rio Grande do Sul and assisted by the Local Innovation Agents Project (ALI). The results showed that there were profiles of companies concerned with customer satisfaction and attraction, but still not very present on social media or investing in advertising.
