Abstract

The degradation of Maranhão's cultural heritage is systemic. Therefore, the miscellany of risks inherent to construction systems infers the preservation of cultural assets. In this context, it supports the assumption that the degradation process is not occasional. Thus, the research analyzed the risk that pathological manifestations promote to the constructive systems of a historic building inserted in the municipality of Caxias - MA. The methodological procedures adopted included the elaboration of Documentary Sheet adapted from NBR 16.747/2020 and the GUT Matrix, in situ inspection and elaboration of descriptive statistics through the Pareto Diagram and absolute frequency. For this, it was necessary to identify, classify and define the degree of risk of the pathological manifestations inspected while establishing the interventional priority in the constructive elements in a situation of risk of accidents by fire or landslides. It is concluded that the inspected property is exposed to imminent risks of punctual landslides, accidents by projection, falls and fires, as it presents structural vulnerability.
